Rachel Morris, Ph.D. depth psychologist

I’m a wife, mother, lover, musician, writer, gardener, and creative misfit. I have walked the walk. I lead with compassion and acceptance, and a healthy balance of levity and seriousness.

What is depth psychology? In short, it’s a branch of psychology that honors more than mainstream approaches—namely the unconscious parts that arise through feeling, dream, myth, and image. It is a tool for self-knowledge that is as wide as it is deep, and above all it honors connection and relationship with the world, others, and, most importantly, ourselves. C. G. Jung says we flow between sense and nonsense—not good and bad. I call this your beautiful myth.

I’ll guide you to a deeper relationship with your inner self. It is a delicate endeavor that also requires strength. The thresholds I have walked through (and still cross at times) required commitment to being present as much as possible—an ongoing undertaking. While many find meaning and purpose in this work, sometimes even that is difficult but worth it.

In working with me, you’ll find a place where curiosity guides and education provides perspective on the complexity of our sexual lives. Bring your whole self, and transformation is inevitable.
